TRUST!!

This is something that doesn’t come easy, to ourselves or each other sometimes. It plays a big role in ours and others lives each day. In this particular post, I’m referring to the trust you have to have in yourself and the process of working out and recovering. Sure, you’re told things to do with the workouts to better them and  yourself, like, rolling out, stretching out, going heavier, etc.

However, you are also given that same advice in the recovery department, you have to do some stretching and range of motion exercises to get that blood flowing, before or after a workout, or just in general, if you don’t work out. This will allow your muscles to heal more rapidly in for you to keep your regimen and get better. So this is where the “trust” comes in.

You’ve relied of what YOU may or may not know in order to “get by” that’s fine, that’s a survival trait, BUT, you also want answers and for people to just give you the blueprint.  Not every person is the same, not every blueprint will be for you, so you will need to customize it.

But, in the end, the overall direction is the same. Some of you are just starting your journey and some of you have been on it for awhile now. Trust the process and trust yourself in order to see results. If you would like to make massage a part of your recovery/regimen, contact me to set it up.

FAQ’S

Is it important to stay hydrated?
Hydrate hydrate hydrate!!!
Hydrating not only makes you sweat more and regulates your body temp, it also lubricates the joints and muscles, allowing for better range of motion and flexibility, prevents cramping, and helps break down nutrients and fat.
This has been an abnormally hot summer(well, it’s Missouri so maybe not) and with August just right around the corner, hydrating is a key component in your journey.
August is notoriously the hottest part of the year, take precaution and do everything you can to help your body.
Did you know that your workplace will pay for you to get massages?

Have an HSA account?

What is an HSA account?

For those you that have them, well, you know what they are already and some of the things they cover.

For those of you that don’t know what an HSA account is and want to look into it and see if your employer participates in it, an HSA account stands for HEALTH SAVINGS ACCOUNT.

This is an account set up by an employer for the employee that pays into insurance to use for medical expenses, this includes prescriptions, Chiropractic, urgent care services, etc.

What some of you that may or may not have them may not know, is that it covers massage as well, in places that accept HSA plans.

I am one of those places, so, if you’re interested in massage and don’t necessarily have the money, and you know you need a massage, but you have an HSA account through your work, you’re in luck.

And, the best part is, every hour you work at your job it pays it back, no money out of YOUR pockets.

If you would like to schedule a massage and have this option, inbox me to set it up.
