Soccer Recovery
Fresh legs by the second match of the weekend.
Sound familiar?
You don't need every box. One or two checked hard is enough.
- Legs that feel heavy by Sunday's match, every tournament
- Groin and hip flexors that are always one sprint from too tight
- Calves that threaten to cramp late in the second half
- Quads that never fully let go between sessions
- Your touch feels slower when your body is stiff, and you know it
They're symptoms. The program starts by finding what's driving them.
Assessed, planned, worked, proven.
The assessment
A focused intake and movement look, followed by 30 minutes of hands-on treatment. You leave knowing what's restricted, what may be driving it, and what the next step should be.
Your plan
A defined set of visits with a clear goal, built around your schedule and your season. You'll know the endpoint before we start.
The work
Focused hands-on visits plus the small between-visit pieces that make it hold. Chris chooses the tools, so you never have to.
The re-test
We measure against where you started. When the change holds, the program ends. That's the point.
Session rates are the same across programs: $60 for 30 minutes, $110 for 60 minutes, and $140 for 90 minutes. If a package makes sense, Chris will talk through it before you buy.
Where this program spends its time.
Quads, hamstrings & calves
The engine room, where match load accumulates fastest.
Hip flexors & adductors
The soccer signature: sprinting, cutting, and striking all live here.
Ankles
Mobility that protects everything above it.
Season pacing
When to work hard on tissue and when to let it recover, planned around your fixture list.
What you get back, in plain terms.
- Quicker turnaround between matches, Sunday legs closer to Saturday legs.
- Warmups that start loose instead of fighting your own hips.
- A season that doesn't accumulate in your body by October.
Every one of these is checked against your own starting point, and that's what the re-test step is for.
This program fits - or it doesn't.
Not sure which side you're on? That's exactly what the assessment answers, and Chris will tell you straight, including if the answer is a doctor before a massage therapist.
Briarcliff, Kansas City North.
MMI is at 1201 NW Briarcliff Pkwy, a short drive from the clubs and complexes Kansas City North plays out of. Players and parents come in from Briarcliff, Gladstone, Parkville, and Liberty, most often the day after a tournament weekend. Visits get scheduled around the fixture list, not the other way around.
Before you book.
What does this program cost?
$199 a month while you're in season. That covers the intake and 30-minute massage to start, then two focused visits every month, with the between-visit work included. Cancel at the end of the season.
How many visits is it?
Two visits a month, month to month, for as long as your season runs. It starts with an intake and a 30-minute massage so Chris knows what he's working with. Tournament weekends usually shift the timing, and that's expected.
How is this different from a regular massage?
A regular massage happens whenever an opening exists. This is timed to your fixtures, lighter and activating before matches, focused recovery after, and tracked against your own baseline through the season. The goal is legs that don't accumulate the schedule.
Can I get worked on during a tournament weekend?
Yes, and it's worth planning ahead for. Work between matches is lighter and aimed at keeping you moving, not at digging deep. Tell Chris the tournament dates in advance so the visits land where they help.
