Less soreness. More room to move.
Training asks a lot of your body. Massage can help with the soreness and sense of fatigue that follow, while giving restricted areas focused attention.
Your training schedule, movement restrictions, and pressure feedback guide the session. Chris combines sports massage, deep tissue, and movement work when they're useful for your priorities.

01Booking basics
- Can I book sports massage without joining a program?
- Yes. You can book a 60-minute sports massage for $110 or a 90-minute session for $140 directly. You don't need an assessment first.
- Should I tell Chris about an upcoming event?
- Yes. Share your practice, competition, and travel dates along with the areas that feel tight. That gives Chris context for the goal of this session and how it fits your schedule.
- What's different about a recovery program?
- A program starts with an assessment and includes a defined plan, focused visits, and re-testing against your starting point. A single session is available on its own when you aren't looking for that longer plan.
- Where does the sports massage take place?
- At Briarcliff II, 1201 NW Briarcliff Pkwy, Suite 221, Kansas City, MO 64116. It's an appointment-only practice with on-site parking.
02In the room
- Is sports massage only for competitive athletes?
- No. Chris works with recreational athletes, lifters, golfers, and active adults too. Tell him what you do and which movements feel restricted so the visit can focus on your priorities.
- Can the session include stretching and movement work?
- Yes. Chris can combine sports massage, deep tissue, stretching, and range-of-motion work when they're useful for your priorities. The techniques and pressure are adjusted around your feedback.
03Planning your next visit
- How often should I get sports massage?
- There's no fixed schedule for everyone. Discuss your training load, event timing, recurring tightness, and response to previous visits with Chris. You can book one session at a time or explore a program if you'd like an ongoing plan.
- Can a young athlete work with Chris?
- Yes. Youth Athlete Recovery is designed for young athletes, with age-appropriate work and a parent in the room for every visit. Start with that program's details and contact Chris if you've got questions before booking.
