Athlete Recovery

Play hard, recover clearly, and show up ready again.

Sound familiar?

You don't need every box — one or two checked hard is enough.

  • You play hard, then spend the next few days waiting for your body to catch up
  • One shoulder, hip, calf, or low back area keeps tightening no matter how much you warm up
  • Matches, practices, lifts, and travel stack faster than you recover
  • Your first few minutes on court or field are spent bargaining with stiffness
  • You do not need a sport-specific page. You need a plan built around your sport.

They're symptoms. The program starts by finding what's driving them.

How the program runs

Assessed, planned, worked, proven.

The assessment

A focused intake and movement look, followed by 30 minutes of hands-on treatment. You leave knowing what's restricted, what may be driving it, and what the next step should be.

Your plan

A defined set of visits with a clear goal, built around your schedule and your season. You'll know the endpoint before we start.

The work

Focused hands-on visits plus the small between-visit pieces that make it hold. Chris chooses the tools — you never have to.

The re-test

We measure against where you started. When the change holds, the program ends. That's the point.

Session rates are the same across programs: $60 for 30 minutes, $110 for 60 minutes, and $140 for 90 minutes. If a package makes sense, Chris will talk through it before you buy.

What we work on

Where this program spends its time.

Sport-specific load

Tennis serves, pickleball lunges, rec-league sprints, cycling posture, tournament weekends — the assessment follows your actual calendar.

Shoulders, hips & spine

The rotation, reach, brace, and change-of-direction patterns most adult athletes keep asking from the same areas.

Lower legs & feet

Calves, ankles, arches, and feet that have to push, stop, slide, land, and recover before the next session.

Recovery timing

Hands-on work placed around matches, practices, heavy training, and travel so the plan supports the season instead of interrupting it.

What changes

What you get back, in plain terms.

  • Start matches or workouts feeling ready instead of negotiated.
  • Recover between play, practice, and training without guessing what to stretch next.
  • A plan that fits your sport, even if your sport is not listed anywhere else.

Every one of these is checked against your own starting point — that's what the re-test step is for.

An honest fit check

This program fits — or it doesn't.

This is your program if…
Start elsewhere if…
You're an adult athlete or active competitor with recurring tightness, soreness, or mobility limits
You're under 18 — Youth Athlete Recovery is the right program
Your sport involves repeated swings, cuts, sprints, jumps, rides, lifts, or long matches
A recent sprain, tear, concussion, fracture, or swelling that has not been medically checked
You need recovery timed around practices, matches, tournaments, or training blocks
Sharp joint pain, numbness, weakness, or symptoms that are worsening quickly
You want Chris to build the plan around your actual sport instead of squeezing you into a generic category

Not sure which side you're on? That's exactly what the assessment answers — and Chris will tell you straight, including if the answer is a doctor before a massage therapist.

Program questions

Before you book.

Is this a fit for tennis or pickleball players?

Yes. Tennis and pickleball load the shoulder, forearm, trunk rotation, hips, calves, and feet in repeat patterns. Bring your match schedule, dominant-side complaints, and what changes during long rallies or later sets.

What if my sport already has its own page?

Use the more specific page if it clearly fits, like Golf Performance, Soccer Recovery, Rugby Recovery, or Lifter Recovery. If none of those feel right, Athlete Recovery is the general sports door; the assessment makes the call.
