Lifter Recovery

Let the last heavy session build you — not follow you.

Sound familiar?

You don't need every box — one or two checked hard is enough.

  • Your shoulder setup feels limited before the bar even moves
  • Hips or ankles make your squat stance a negotiation
  • Pecs, lats, glutes, or low back never fully release between sessions
  • One side keeps taking more of the load
  • Your warm-up gets longer just to feel normal

They're symptoms. The program starts by finding what's driving them.

How the program runs

Assessed, planned, worked, proven.

The assessment

A focused intake and movement look, followed by 30 minutes of hands-on treatment. You leave knowing what's restricted, what may be driving it, and what the next step should be.

Your plan

A defined set of visits with a clear goal, built around your schedule and your season. You'll know the endpoint before we start.

The work

Focused hands-on visits plus the small between-visit pieces that make it hold. Chris chooses the tools — you never have to.

The re-test

We measure against where you started. When the change holds, the program ends. That's the point.

Session rates are the same across programs: $60 for 30 minutes, $110 for 60 minutes, and $140 for 90 minutes. If a package makes sense, Chris will talk through it before you buy.

What we work on

Where this program spends its time.

Shoulders & shoulder blades

The range and control behind a comfortable rack, press, pull, and stable bar path.

Hips, glutes & adductors

Where bracing, depth, stance, and heavy lower-body work most often start arguing.

Ankles & calves

Enough usable motion to reach position without borrowing it from the feet, knees, or low back.

Training-week timing

Recovery placed around heavy days, volume, meets, and deloads so the work supports training instead of disrupting it.

What changes

What you get back, in plain terms.

  • Set up under the bar without fighting your own range.
  • Carry less soreness and restriction from one session into the next.
  • Make heavy days feel ready instead of negotiated.

Every one of these is checked against your own starting point — that's what the re-test step is for.

An honest fit check

This program fits — or it doesn't.

This is your program if…
Start elsewhere if…
You train consistently and the same mobility or recovery limit keeps returning
A recent tear, dislocation, fracture, or surgery without medical clearance
Your warm-up improves the problem, but never makes the change hold
Sharp joint pain, sudden weakness, or symptoms that are getting rapidly worse
You want bodywork timed around your actual training split
Numbness, tingling, or radiating pain — get that evaluated before hands-on work
You lift for strength, sport, competition, or simply because you like being strong

Not sure which side you're on? That's exactly what the assessment answers — and Chris will tell you straight, including if the answer is a doctor before a massage therapist.

Program questions

Before you book.

Will this make me sore before training?

It shouldn't sabotage the session you're preparing for. Tell Chris your training split, heavy days, and events at the assessment so the intensity and timing can match the week.

Is this only for competitive lifters?

No. The program fits anyone who trains with meaningful load and wants their movement and recovery to keep pace — whether there's a meet on the calendar or not.
