Youth Athlete Recovery

A body that recovers as hard as they play.

Sound familiar?

You don't need every box — one or two checked hard is enough.

  • Sore for days after tournament weekends
  • Growth spurts arriving with a new round of tightness
  • Multiple sports, zero off-season
  • The same complaint keeps coming back — knees, heels, hips, shoulders
  • Coaches say “stretch more” and it clearly isn't enough

They're symptoms. The program starts by finding what's driving them.

How the program runs

Assessed, planned, worked, proven.

The assessment

A focused intake and movement look, followed by 30 minutes of hands-on treatment. You leave knowing what's restricted, what may be driving it, and what the next step should be.

Your plan

A defined set of visits with a clear goal, built around your schedule and your season. You'll know the endpoint before we start.

The work

Focused hands-on visits plus the small between-visit pieces that make it hold. Chris chooses the tools — you never have to.

The re-test

We measure against where you started. When the change holds, the program ends. That's the point.

Session rates are the same across programs: $60 for 30 minutes, $110 for 60 minutes, and $140 for 90 minutes. If a package makes sense, Chris will talk through it before you buy.

What we work on

Where this program spends its time.

Age-appropriate soft-tissue work

Lighter, shorter, and matched to a growing body — nothing like an adult deep-tissue session.

Mobility they can actually use

Simple routines a young athlete will really do — taught, not just handed over.

Load awareness

Three teams and two sports add up. We look at the whole calendar, not one sore spot.

Parents in the room

A parent attends every visit, start to finish. Understanding the plan is part of the plan.

What changes

What you get back, in plain terms.

  • Recovery habits that follow them to every practice.
  • Fewer nagging, recurring complaints between tournaments.
  • A young athlete who understands their own body — that one lasts.

Every one of these is checked against your own starting point — that's what the re-test step is for.

An honest fit check

This program fits — or it doesn't.

This is your program if…
Start elsewhere if…
Your athlete is in organized sports with a demanding schedule
Unexplained, persistent, or worsening pain — pediatrician first, always
Recurring soreness or tightness keeps showing up
A suspected growth-plate issue — that's medical, not soft-tissue
You want education alongside the hands-on work
Your athlete doesn't want to be there — this works with them, never on them
A parent or guardian can attend every session — that's required

Not sure which side you're on? That's exactly what the assessment answers — and Chris will tell you straight, including if the answer is a doctor before a massage therapist.

Program questions

Before you book.

Is massage safe for kids and teens?

The work here is gentle, age-appropriate, and education-forward — a different thing entirely from adult deep-tissue work. A parent or guardian is in the room for every minute of every visit, and nothing happens without the athlete's own comfort and consent.

What ages does this cover?

This program is for young athletes whose parent or guardian is actively involved. A parent or guardian stays in the room for every visit, and persistent, unexplained, or worsening pain should go to a pediatrician first.
